Before NFTs, before DeFi, there was Jesse from the item shop selling WoW gold to strangers on dial-up. $LEWT brings the original internet gray market back — this time it's the token that's the loot.

Before Kraken, there was Lewt.

In 2001 — a decade before he co-founded the crypto exchange Kraken — Jesse Powell started a company called Lewt, Inc. For ten years, Lewt sold exactly what it sounds like: virtual currencies, in-game items, power leveling, and accounts for MMORPG players. It was the real-money trading economy of the early internet, run on PayPal invoices and IRC channels, years before anyone called it Web3.

Powell left Lewt behind in 2011, the same year he began consulting for Mt. Gox in the wake of its first major hack. Two years later, he launched Kraken — and that part of the story you already know.

$LEWT is a memecoin named after that earlier chapter: the original online gray market, run out of a bedroom before there was a word for any of this.

$LEWT is an independent, community-made project. It is not created, operated, or endorsed by Jesse Powell, Kraken, or any of Powell's companies, past or present.

How It Works

Getting looted has never been this easy

Three steps. No account required. No "premium membership" upsell — we retired that grift for you.

👛
Step 1

Gear up a wallet

Grab a web3 wallet that supports INK chain and fund it. This is the only "account creation" you'll ever do here — no usernames, no security questions about your childhood pet.

⚔️
Step 2

Swap in at the shop

Head to the DEX, paste the contract address from the Tokenomics section below, and swap into $LEWT. Always double-check the contract — the alley has imitators.

🏆
Step 3

Hold your loot

Your $LEWT lands straight in your wallet. Track it, meme it, or just leave it on the shelf next to the diamond and the chest — that's what shelves are for.

FAQ

Frequently asked, occasionally answered

Everything you'd want to know before you ape in.

BasicsWhat actually is $LEWT?
+

$LEWT is a memecoin built around the nostalgia of early-2000s internet item shops and gray-market RMT sites. It's not a real marketplace, it doesn't sell WoW gold, and Jesse is not a licensed financial advisor. It's a token, a meme, and a shared joke about the internet's shadiest era of commerce.

AccessWhere can I buy it?
+

Once live, $LEWT will trade on [DEX NAME] against the contract address listed in the Tokenomics section above. Always verify the contract address against our official links before swapping — we will never DM you first.

SafetyIs the contract safe?
+

Liquidity is locked and ownership is renounced at launch — no admin can mint more supply, pause trading, or blacklist a wallet. That said, this is a memecoin: it carries the same volatility and risk as any other. Only trade what you can afford to lose.
